Glenn A. Fernandez, 40, of Providence, Rhode Island died peacefully on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 amongst family and friends. Glenn was born on March 27, 1978 to Rosalinda Fernandez (Adoptante) and Pedro L. Fernandez. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Kathy Placencia-Fernandez and two children, Jacob Fernandez (12) and Sofia Fernandez (5). He leaves behind 3 siblings, Vicente Adoptante Jr, Kevin Fernandez and Roselyn Fernandez. He was the brother in law to Edward Givens, Yahaira Placencia, Patricia Placencia, Yoel Placencia, Suhand Placencia, Cabrini Placencia and Emmanuel Placencia who were more like brothers and sisters. He also left behind many nieces and nephews: Arianna, Vanessa, Mariah, Envyous, Imani, Jaden, and Chassidy. Glenn was incredibly loved by so many. Nothing was more important to him than family. He was a very devoted father and husband. His loving spirit, laugh and huge smile was infectious and will be sorely missed. He was a selfless soul. He loved his work as a sheet metal worker for Local 17.

A celebration of his life service will be held on Monday, February 4th, 2019 at Keefe Funeral Home from 5-8 pm and funeral services will be held the next day February 5th at 10 am the same location followed by burial services at St Ann’s Cemetery.
